Maid Nana here! I can't believe it's been three months since our last letter; I hope we haven't kept you waiting too long! So much has changed since our first issue of Megami Tegami including the introduction of generation 5! Speaking of generation 5, allow me to introduce the newest member of the Megami Tegami staff, Maid Jun!
"I’m so excited to be working with the Megami Tegami staff as a fresh trainee maid. Writing has always been something I’ve loved, especially creative storytelling, though I rarely get the chance to explore it. That’s why I’ve taken extra care with certain narratives written — to create something that lingers, pretty words capturing the charm and quiet beauty of each and every maid.
Inside, you’ll find stories and reflections from maids dedicated to learning, educating, improving, and doing our best for our Goshujinsama and Ojousama! We hope you enjoy reading them as much as we’ve enjoyed experiencing them. "
Yours Truly, Maid Jun

On a windy weekend in a shining city by the sea, maids new and old alike awaited the return of their loyal Goshujinsama and Ojousama…
For the third year in a row Megami Maids returned to Anime Corpus Christi! Last year the weather was cold and rainy and this year sunshine graced us for the entire weekend, but no matter the weather Anime Corpus Christi is always a warm, safe, haven at sea.
This year Megami Maids decorated the island mansion with blue and white roses at each table and prepared both savory and sweet treats for Goshujinsama and Ojousama. Each dessert plate came with a custom syrup design from a lovely maid. The most popular requests were for kitty-cats and Pikachu, but more unconventional (and aquatic!) designs such as crabs, octopus, and axolotl were happily drawn.
For the Goshujinsama and Ojousama who have been away for a while, you may have noticed some changes! Maid Michi was sporting her new sakura pink bow while showing off her impressive decorating and drawing skills during sessions. Maid Michi had this to say about her promotion to senior maid:
“Our weekend at Anime Corpus Christi was truly unforgettable. Meeting all the Goshujinsama and Ojousama was such a joy, and I’m beyond grateful for the warm welcome! As a newly promoted maid, receiving my bow color is such an honor, and I can't wait to share even more of my art with you. I'll keep working hard to make our time together even more magical, so I hope you'll come back and visit again soon! Until then, stay sweet!”
It wasn’t just new bows in the mansion, but new maids as well! Megami introduced three trainee maids: Coco, Meringue, and Yuzu! The three rookie maids had been training hard and had this to say about their debut:
Yuzu: I had a blast at Anime Corpus, and I think it was the perfect event for the start of my Megami Maid adventure! Every Goshujinsama and Oujousama that we spent time with gave us the same love right back. The event felt very personal, and I am still touched by the amount of sincerity and appreciation that everyone showed us. We had two Goshujinsama who carved out time to come to the maid café even though they work 7 days a week. All of the Maids did their best to make the experience rejuvenating and special for them.
Meringue: I was very nervous at first but having all the Goshujinsama, Ojousama, and my fellow maids to cheer me on was a huge encouragement! During one of my performances my name tag fell off and made a loud metal thunk on the stage. At first I didn't realize it was my name tag and thought the stage was falling apart! Thankfully that wasn't the case, but I did see my life flash before my eyes for a moment!
Coco: After being a maid for the first time, I have come to realize that true Megami magic is something you make alongside Goshujinsama and Ojousama. I am so glad that I got to see all different types of people from different walks of life and I wouldn't change it for the world!
Many paths of life converge on Anime Corpus Christi, but no matter the differences, the warmth of community and love bring people together. For a brief moment in time, worries can be forgotten and new memories can be made that will last a lifetime. Until next time, Anime Corpus Christi! Megami Maids will be waiting for you!

Beep beep! Hop in and hear about Megami’s time at Itasha Overdrive! A blend between a car show and anime watch party, Itasha Overdrive was a totally one of a kind experience that Megami Maids boosted with their cosplay contest halftime show!
Custom cars lined the parking lot outside of Blaq Lotus studios, music pumping from the DJ booth inside. You might be thinking Fast and Furious, but this meetup had a distinctly anime twist. Itasha are cars that are decorated to display your favorite character. You might have a sticker of your fave on your rear window, but these cars take it one step further with custom wraps, decals and even interiors all themed to a character or series. Some characters at this meetup were from anime such as Aqua from Konosuba, but other media was welcome such as Miles Morales from the Spiderman universe.
This party didn’t just have cars and music and food, but a cosplay contest as well! After the contestants walked the stage and while the judges deliberated, that’s when Megami Maids appeared to dazzle the audience.
“More More, Jump!!” are the opening lyrics to Idol Shin’eitai and that high energy doesn’t stop with the intro– Maids Aries, Chisa, Risa, Yaya and Yui conveyed the story of new idols pushing the limit to become the stars they always dreamed of.
After a brief introduction by the members the grand finale of the halftime show was Eien Maid Shugi which is considered by some one of the more difficult maid café classics.
“I feel that the most difficult part of Maiden Shugi was trying to push ourselves into keeping up our energy constantly throughout the whole song!” said Dance Captain Yaya.
“It’s super fun to do live but is VERY tiring”.
Despite the difficulty level being raised, the Megami Maids performed beautifully, bringing to life the lyrics of a dutiful maid with 100% power!
Performing at Itasha Overdrive was like being invited to the coolest party with your nerdiest friends. It was such a treat to see craftsmanship and showmanship of both cars and cosplay come together in one cozy, stylish space. We hope we can attend more events and we hope you can be there too!

Come learn all about the newest generation of Megami Maids in this exclusive interview!

How did you learn about Megami Maids?
Jun: I always wanted to work at a maid café since I went to one in Japan, but I could never find one in the United States. Maid Aries told me about Megami accepting applications and that’s how I heard about it.
Chiyo: A long time ago when Megami first started, I attended an event and loved their cute concept. I went away for a long time and when I returned, applications were open and I thought “It’s now or never!”
Liana: I attended an event hosted by Megami and was mesmerized by the maids. I missed the application for 4th generation, but decided to try for 5th generation.
Coco: A friend said I should try it and I thought “You know what? I’ll give it my best shot!” and here I am!
What are your Hobbies?

Do you have any special skills?
Ai: I catch on to things quickly. It only takes me a few moments to understand something well.

From Aprons to Accessories: Kawaii Craft Tutorials
by Maid Jun
In a quiet nook of the maid mansion, where sunlight danced through lace curtains and the scent of strawberry glue lingered in the air, three maids gathered for a very special crafting session.
With meticulous fingers and sparkling eyes, one tied a pink satin bow onto a frilled headband, another swirled pastel frosting onto a phone case like it was a cake, and the third strung dainty trinkets into charms on a string.
The artists behind the magic? Maid Leysa, styling headbands with elegance and flair, Maid Meringue, whipping up sweet decoden creations, and Maid Liana, charming everyone with her tiny treasures.
Come closer, dear Goshujinsama and Ojousama—it's time to peek behind the lace curtains and ribbons as the maids reveal their crafting secrets!
Decoden Phone Cases with Maid Meringue

What is Decoden?
Inspired by over-the-top dessert aesthetics, decoden is the art of decorating objects with “whipped cream” textures, sparkly charms, and adorable cabochons. Think blinged-out meets bake shop fantasy—all stuck together with love (and lots of patience).
Meringue’s Step-by-Step Phone Case Decoden Magic:
1. Prep Time!
Gently sand the surface of your phone case. This helps the cream stick better and last longer.
2. Spread the Base
Apply a smooth layer of deco cream to your phone case. This is your whipped canvas!
3. Piping Time
Using a piping tip, decorate the edges with little whipped cream-style dollops. It’s like frosting a cake, but for your tech.
4. Place Your Charms
Before the cream dries, press in your charms! Start with larger cabochons, then fill in gaps with smaller pieces for a balanced look.
✨ Maid Tip: “Start with your biggest pieces first. That way you can build around them naturally!”
5. Let it Rest
Let your creation dry for 2–3 days. The cream will remain a little squishy, but your masterpiece should hold its shape!
Maid Leysa’s Headband of Moe Dreams

“I was inspired by other maids at different cafes,” she shared. “I was so in love with their headbands.”
Leysa’s Step-by-Step Headband Tutorial
1. Gather Your Materials
Lace, gems, ribbons, bows—anything your heart desires to create your perfect headband.
2. Add the Lace
Take a strip of lace and gently attach it along the top curve of the headband to create a soft, frilly frame. You can use small pins to hold it in place or secure it with a dab of hot glue if you prefer a more permanent option.
3. Attach the Bows
Maid Leysa prefers to fasten her bows with removable pins—perfect for swapping styles later! Arrange them symmetrically or create a statement by placing them to one side.
4. Add Extra Decorations
Select your remaining embellishments—charms, rhinestones, tiny flowers—and play around with the arrangement until you’re happy. Once you’ve found the perfect look, secure everything using your chosen method (glue, pins, or light stitching all work!)
5. Final Touches
Give your headband a gentle shake to check for any loose pieces and adjust as needed. The best part? Safety pins make it easy to tweak or refresh your design whenever inspiration strikes.
Maid Liana’s Charms

What You’ll Need:
Assorted beads (shapes, colors, and sizes you love!)
Charms or trinkets (stars, hearts, moons—whatever suits your theme!)
Nylon cord, stretch string, or jewelry wire
Keychain hooks, lobster clasps, or phone strap loops
Scissors
Optional: Crimp beads, pliers, and jump rings for advanced designs
✨ Maid Tip: “You can find materials anywhere! I shop both locally and online—anywhere I spot something cute!”
How to Make a Charm:
1. Start with a Theme
Begin with a design in mind. Is it dreamy and pastel? Ocean-inspired? Retro and fun? Let your imagination guide you!
2. Choose Your Beads
Sort through your bead stash (or go shopping!) to find colors and shapes that match your theme.
3. Try Layouts First
Lay your beads out in different patterns. Liana says it feels like “solving a puzzle”—try out combos until one just clicks.
4. Thread It Together
Once you’ve found your favorite arrangement, begin threading your beads onto cord or wire. Add your charm piece and secure the ends with a clasp or loop.
5. Finish with Care
Double-knot, crimp, or clamp the ends—whatever works best for your materials. Give it a gentle tug to make sure everything’s secure!
Though she’s still perfecting her craft, Maid Liana’s passion shines through every piece. “I just wanted a creative outlet,” she said. “I’m getting better, and I’d love to try more intricate designs in the future. I want to keep working hard and share my creations!”
